check our courses

In our introductory program, we want to give you a solid grounding in the many possibilities within the Maker’s Factory. We want to work together in a hands-on format in four learning areas on the knowledge you need to realise your own project on this site.

3D data generation
3D printing
CNC milling
2D cutting and engraving

If you have never had any experience in these areas, this is the right course for you – but there will be eye-opening content for more experienced users as well. After completing the course, you will be able to operate the equipment you need independently – but don’t worry, we will still be here to answer any questions!

Note: The courses are not a prerequisite for working on your own. If you’re familiar with the kind of equipment you need to use just let us know, and you can get started after a brief introduction to the machine in question.

learning field 1

3D data generation

Whether it’s 3D scanning or computer aided design, you’ll learn how to transfer that mind-blowing idea from your head to the computer, so you can fine-tune it as you go along and make it reality. This is also where you can learn to how digitize objects. We will guide you through use of the 3D scanner in the Maker’s Factory or show you how to transfer your thoughts into the Fusion 360 CAD program to prepare you to carry out the first production steps.

Modul A

3D scanning

Hand-held and stationary 3D scanning of objects

In this course you will learn to master 3D scanning with structured light. The scanned data is then post-processed and exported for use in CAD software or for 3D printing.
