CytoFlex LX

The CytoFLEX LX has all the advantages of the CytoFLEX series, e.g. APD and WDM technology for detection, plate loader, intuitive software, etc. and is equipped with 5 lasers and 21 detectors (19 „colors“ plus FSC plus SSC).

In addition to the „classic“ lasers (blue, red, violet), the instrument has a yellow-green laser (which can be used to measure a large number of reporter proteins such as mCherry) and a true-UV laser. With this one can measure fluorochromes like DAPI or Hoechst much better than with the violet laser, this is important e.g. for cell cycle analyses. It also allows one to use the range of new UV „dyes“, making panel design more flexible and easier. All together, with this equipment one can perform all common assays in flow cytometry and is flexible and future-proof with up to 19 „colors“.
