The Life Science Factory will be a Host for the Sahlgrenska global health hackathon

The Sahlgrenska Global Health Hackathon is a global initiative aimed at catalyzing solutions to pressing health challenges. The hackathon will make stops in six countries across three continents, with the Life Science Factory in Göttingen proud to host the event in Germany.

Objective: The hackathon seeks to address key health challenges including health equality and access to care, cancer control, healthy aging and chronic disease management, infection prevention and control, and smart, safe, and sustainable healthcare.

What to Expect:

  • A two-day intensive workshop where participants from various disciplines come together in teams to develop tangible solutions.
  • Opportunities for networking with leading experts and other participants.
  • Insights into the latest trends and innovations in life sciences.

Who Should Attend? The hackathon is open to innovators, scientists, students, and anyone interested in overcoming healthcare challenges through collaborative innovation.

How might personalized medicine and AI be harnessed to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and reduce healthcare-associated infections, two critical global health threats responsible for widespread illness and death?

Smart,safe, and sustainable healthcare

How can we minimize hospitals’ climate footprint, hazardous waste, and emissions while improving patient (and staff) health and safety?
