Located in the heart of this new mixed-use quarter on the site of the old Sartorius factory in north Göttingen, Life Science Factory will be surrounded by a lively ecosystem. Answers to the following FAQs provide a wealth of information all about the Sartorius Quarter – from parking lot locations to the many close links with Göttingen’s university and other major research institutes.
when will the life science factory open its new location in the sartorius quarter?
The opening of the Life Science Factory is scheduled for January 2022. Currently you can find us together with StartRaum at Friedrichstraße 3-4 in downtown Göttingen. We have a smaller version of the Maker’s Factory here, as well as a coworking area available for use. Interested? Email us!
when can i book a membership?
You can become a member now. For information about the various membership modules, go to the Memberships page of our website. We would be happy to give you a quote on a tailored membership plan. Just contact us!
what is the current status at the construction site?
Everyone is working flat out so that we can open in January 2022. It’s not much to look at quite yet, but visible progress is being made every day! who else will be moving in to the sartorius quarter besides the life science factory?
The Life Science Factory will be next to the Gesundheitscampus, an educational center for healthcare professions, and the Patient Care Center, jointly operated by med-tech company Ottobock and the Rehazentrum Junge center for physiotherapy and rehabilitation. This life-science and healthcare oriented core will be surrounded by residential buildings, a daycare center, industry and retail spaces, a hotel with restaurant, and smart apartments.
